Candlelite Cove - De Tour Village - Lake Huron
ADA Accessibility
Here at Candlelite Cove, we want everyone who visits not only our vacation home, but our website, to feel welcome and find the experience a warm one. We strive to make our website accessible to all, and maintain due diligence with ADA standards. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines put forth by the World Wide Web Consortium.
What Are We Doing?
We are in the process of reviewing and updating the site to identify non-compliant elements and are working to bring them into compliance.
Please be aware that our efforts are ongoing as ADA standards and guidelines may change, or we may find additional items that need to be compliant.
While the industry is not operating from approved, regulated legislation, Candlelite Cove is committed to our good faith effort to follow the guidelines available. If you have questions, or concerns, please contact us by calling 2318458074, or emailing [email protected]. Be sure to include specifics. We will make every reasonable effort to assist, or to make a page accessible for you.
This accessibility statement only covers our website. You may find outbound links to other sites. Accessibility on those sites is the responsibility of the site owners and are not managed or controlled by our site.
Regarding the home itself: additional details:
There is a built in shower seat in the largest bathroom. There is also a grab bar at the toilet in this bathroom as well.
Crane Cove is a single story home, with no steps inside. There is a wooden deck in the front with four steps to climb and there is a securely attached railing. On the lake side of the home, there are additional steps with a railing, which takes you into the yard and out along a path to Lake Huron. The beach path is a mix of gravel and sand, and Crane Cove is a rocky beach. Water shoes will come in very handy, and between the rocks and the water's edge, care needs to be taken along here. A sandy beach is located about 1/4 mile away along M - 134.
Thank you very much.
